Jamie Loftus

Comedian

Emmy award-nominated writer and comedian Jamie Loftus still has three of her baby teeth, but she also has unmatchable talent. She has written for HBO Max's Teenage Euthanasia, and has worked as a writer and voice actor on the shows Robot Chicken, Magical Girl Friendship Squad, and Human Kind Of. Her comedy often borders on performance art: she has dated an American Girl doll, sold “Shrek nudes” on Etsy to raise money for Planned Parenthood, and attempted to eat a copy of David Foster Wallace’s Infinite Jest. She is the host and creator of three critically-acclaimed iHeartRadio podcasts: My Year in Mensa, Lolita Podcast, and Aack Cast. Along with fellow comedian Caitlin Durante, she co-hosts The Bechdel Cast, a weekly podcast about the representation of women in film. WebsiteInstagramTwitter

Silvia Vasquez-Lavado

Writer and Mountaineer

Silvia Vasquez-Lavado is a humanitarian, mountaineer, explorer, social entrepreneur, and technologist living in San Francisco. She launched Courageous Girls, a nonprofit that helps survivors of sexual abuse and trafficking with opportunities to find inner strength and cultivate their voices by demonstrating their physical strength. Courageous Girls has had projects in Nepal, India, the United States, and Peru. Vasquez-Lavado was recognized by Fortune magazine as one of the "Corporate Heroes of 2015". CNET named her one of the "20 Most Influential Latinos in Silicon Valley." She has also been recognized by the Peruvian government as one of the “Marca Peru” ambassadors (country brand ambassadors). Ani DiFranco

Activist

Grammy award-winning singer-songwriter Ani DiFranco began her career at age nine when she landed her first gig performing Beatles covers at a coffeehouse, and there was no looking back from there. At nineteen, she founded her own label, Righteous Babe Records, which has since released music from artists such as Andrew Bird, Anaïs Mitchell, and Utah Phillips, as well as all 22 of Ani’s own studio albums. As an activist, Ani has lent her voice and her platform to a broad range of social movements. Her latest album, Revolutionary Love (2021), showcases her rare ability to give voice to our deepest frustrations and tensions, on both a personal and a political level. WebsiteInstagramTwitter
