Carrie Brownstein - the Portlandia star and Sleater-Kinney/Wild Flag member joins us to talk about her new book Portlandia: A Guide for Visitors.

Lois Leveen - graced our stage in 2008 and she has been busy since. She's written a novel, contributed to the anthologies Portland Queer and Our Portland Story, and taken on no less than Dora The Explorer in the pages of Bitch Magazine. Her recently published novel The Secrets of Mary Bowser is a history novel which takes on the story of a Richmond slave who spied for the Union army

Musical guest - Federale is composed of members from The Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Builders and the Butchers, and The High Violets, Federale is a band that writes soundtracks for 1970's spaghetti westerns.
