Ari Shapiro (and Thomas Lauderdale) - NPR's White House reporter Ari Shapiro has had a ridiculously busy year. He's been a member of the pool of reporters following the Romney campaign right up until the end, and we'll talk to him about what that was like. (Here's his final retrospective.) Additionally, he'll bring his friend Thomas Lauderdale of Pink Martini along with him for, perhaps, some impromptu tunes. (Ari is in town to record on the upcoming Pink Martini album.)

Arthur Bradford - is writer and director whose work has appeared in Esquire, McSweeneys, and Tin House. He's also worked on the pioneering film and TV series How's Your News? which predominantly featured developmentally disabled reporters. His film 6 Days to Air chronicled the process behind an episode of South Park. He recently directed Election 2012, the latest film by the How's Your News? news team.

Musical guest - Sara Jackson-Holman - is a singer-songwriter who has seen a fairly dramatic career arc, going from a recent music school graduate to having her songs featured on ABC's Castle and The CW's Ringer.
