Daniel H. Wilson - NYT bestselling author (who just happens to have a PhD in robotics) has written no fewer than five books on the subject of robots, including How to Survive A Robot Uprising and 2011's well-reviewed Robopocalypse, the film version of which is currently in production with Steven Spielberg at the helm. His latest book, Amped, explores a world where technology has created superhumans, but mere mortals want them kept in their place.

Ted Rall - For more than 20 years Ted has been getting attention for some of the most unflinching political cartoons and opinion columns printed in newspapers. He's regularly appeared on NPR, the BBC and Fox News, and on top of that he's traveled extensively through some dangerous and strategically entangled parts of the world and written about it. His latest book is The Book of Obama: How We Got From Hope and Change to the Age of Revolt.

Musical guest - Star Anna - Loved by NPR, KEXP, No Depression and called "An American original" by Pearl Jam's Mike McCready, Star Anna has one of those voices with a character all its own. Her latest record is Alone in This Together, and she's currently working on her newest LP, The Sky is Falling, and prepping for a nationwide tour.
