Diana Nyad
On September 2013, after four attempts, Diana Nyad made history as the first person to swim from Cuba to Florida without the aid of a shark cage. Nyad has since performed a one-woman show, been featured in a TED talk and performed on Dancing With the Stars. She's now set her sights on walking across the U.S. in 2016.

Heidi Julavits
Julavits is the author of four novels and the co-editor of The Believer magazine. Her most recent project is The Folded Clock: A Diary—a memoir she decided to write after re-looking at her teenage diaries and deciding she needed a do-over.

Israel Nebeker
The lead singer and guitarist for Portland's own folk-pop sextet Blind Pilot, currently in the studio working on their third album. Nebeker recently produced Dancing in Gold, the latest record from the Von Trapps
