In a show about big breaks, Wild author Cheryl Strayed talks about watching Reese Witherspoon walk 1000 miles in her shoes, Dear White People writer/director Justin Simien asks Luke why afros are "black holes for white people's fingers," and Magic Mouth slays us with their special brand of modern phunk.

Cheryl Strayed
Prior to writing Wild, arguably the most successful memoir in a decade, Cheryl Strayed was a prolific and extremely well-respected novelist and teacher. Now, with Oprah and Reese Witherspoon on speed dial and a film version of Wild written by Nick Hornby and directed by Jean-Marc Vallee, she's officially a juggernaut.

Justin Simien
Justin Simien is the director of Dear White People, the winner of the Special Jury Award for Breakthrough Talent at Sundance. The film was inspired by his experience attending a predominantly white university and has been called "tight, funny, smart and insightful" by the Chicago Sun-Times.
